Why would these people advertise for me?
Because you’re going to give them something that they need! Fresh content! These
people are newsletter owners who have thousands of subscribers in their email list. And
these describers demand fresh new content every week. Which puts you in the perfect
marketing spot.
Think about it. You write an informative report, easy to do with all of the information floating around the internet, slap a copyright on it, and give it to all of the newsletters you can find. If it’s a good report, they will send it to all of their readers, and may even put it into their past issues website where people can come and read it forever. Of course you’ll have your name and website address in the resource box at the end of the report. You can even sneak your autoresponder link in so that the readers can get your free stuff and you can get their email.
The best part is, you can set it up to spread through the internet by putting a few simple lines at the top of the report. All you need to say is: Copyright John Doe
Reprinted with permission. This report may be passed on provided all information remains intact and is not changed in any way. People who read this will give it to their friends, and it will eventually reach other newsletter owners who will send it to their lists.
Writing a report is very easy. First, you need a subject. Something related to your product would be best since these are the readers you want to reach. Then you need to find some information that readers would want to know. Get a couple of reports written by others, take out the best parts, and rewrite them in your own words. Below is a good format to follow.
Point out a problem: First, let them know what the problem is. For example, the biggest problem I’ve encountered with online advertising is the high prices.
Make the problem seem worse: Then you want to make the problem seem bigger to scare them some more and make them really glad for your solution. For example, the prices are so high that I was actually losing money on every sale. Give them the solution: Then hit them with you amazing solution. For example, finally, I found a way to advertise for free. Its…
Sum up your information: Then you do a quick summary of what this report just told them.
Resource Box: Every newsletter publisher allows you to place a short 5 to 7 line long resource box at the end of your report. This will have your name, your email address, website address, and a small mini ad. This is a great place to put a link to your free stuff. Something like Click here to get your free ebook. Learn the secrets of internet marketing. Of course, to get their free ebook, they will need to give you their email address for your list.
Contacting Publishers Letting others spread your report around is great, but why stop there. The successful ones are those who attack marketing aggressively. The best way to get newsletter owners to publish your reports is to walk right up and ask them. But first you need to find them. The links below will lead you to newsletter directories that list thousands of newsletters by subject. Start there and find a couple of newsletters that meet your subject and get the emails of their owners.

Once you’ve found some newsletters that meet your subject, it’s time to contact them. Some owners won’t read unsolicited emails and articles, so it’s best to contact them before submitting your article. Just email them a simple note asking if they accept article submissions and if you can send them your article for consideration. Something like the message below.
Dear John Doe, (if you don’t know the name, simply put Hi) My name is George Who and I’ve recently written a report about marketing (put your subject here) that I would like to submit to you for possible publication in your newsletter.
After visiting your website and reading a few of your back issues, I believe your readers
would be interested in my new report.
Do you accept material from outside writers? If so, do you have any specific guidelines,
or may I send you my report for consideration?
Thank you for you time. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
George Who (Put your name here)
www.whosgeorge.com (make sure to put your website so the owner can come and see who
you are and make sure your not just some anonymous scammer)
You will want to create an email list of those who agree so you can send them any new articles or reports you write. Just make sure you give them the option of getting off of your email list so they don’t accuse you of spamming.
Free Content Directories Another great place to send your articles is to free content directories. These are the places that newsletter owners go to get articles for their newsletters. This is really great. Once your article or report is placed in these directories, newsletter owners can come and use it in their newsletters forever. A few directories are listed below.

The Big Directories
Like the other directories, these places are where newsletter owners get a lot of their
articles. Unlike the other directories, these places are looking for exclusive content. This
means that it must be written by you and that once it’s submitted it becomes their
property so you can’t submit it to anyone else. Of course, with the number of people that
come to these sites, it might be worth it to give them the rights to you articles.
